Why should you attend?

This course provides a comprehensive guide to mastering Kibana, the powerful data visualization tool in the Elastic Stack. The journey begins with an introduction to Kibana, covering its features and benefits, as well as installation and setup procedures. This foundational knowledge sets the stage for more advanced topics. Participants will then learn how to navigate the Kibana interface and explore its core components such as Discover, Visualize, Dashboard, and Dev Tools. The course delves into data discovery techniques by connecting to Elasticsearch and utilizing index patterns. Learners will gain hands-on experience in querying and filtering data using practical exercises. The course also focuses on creating various types of visualizations. In two parts, it covers basic visualizations like bar charts and line charts, followed by advanced options including pie charts and data tables. Customization techniques are also discussed to enhance the visual appeal of your data representations. Building interactive dashboards is another key component of this course. Participants will learn how to add visualizations to dashboards and create interactivity within them. Advanced visualization techniques using Timelion for time series analysis and Vega for custom visualizations are also explored. Additionally, the course introduces Kibana Canvas for designing dynamic workpads and TSVB (Time Series Visual Builder) for advanced time series visualizations. Practical workshops provide hands-on projects to build complete dashboards, incorporating real-world applications. Finally, participants will learn about alerting and monitoring within the Elastic Stack, as well as security features like role-based access control and managing users.
